Public Speaking Bootcamp at VASC

Future Speakers Initiative (FSI) is hosting a free, three-day summer bootcamp at the Vietnamese American Service Center for students entering grades 4–8 in Fall 2025. This teen-led program builds confidence, communication, and leadership skills through interactive workshops led by experienced high school speech and debate captains. Each 90-minute session blends short lessons with speaking games, group activities, and personalized feedback in a fun, welcoming environment designed for all experience levels.

• Day 1 – Finding Your Voice (July 23): Students will learn to speak clearly and confidently through body language practice, voice drills, and short impromptu speeches.

• Day 2 – Speaking to Persuade (July 24): Students will explore structured formats like claim-evidence-reasoning, build arguments, and participate in mini-debates.

• Day 3 – Speaking for Impact (July 25): Students will discover how to use their voice for social change through real-world examples and craft their own advocacy speeches.
