At our core, we believe that communication is power. In a world where opportunities are often shaped by access to education and resources, strong speaking and argumentation skills should not be a privilege reserved for the wealthy.
Founded by Yashnil Mohanty, this nonprofit was created to bridge the gap in speech and debate education—ensuring that students from underprivileged communities have the same opportunities to develop critical communication and public speaking skills as their more privileged peers.
Our Story
Competing for Westmont High School, we saw firsthand how disparities in funding and resources impact students’ ability to compete on equal footing. Many middle schoolers in underfunded schools never get the chance to experience debate, practice public speaking, or sharpen their critical thinking—skills that are crucial for academic success, career advancement, and self-advocacy. This inequality creates a cycle where students from wealthier backgrounds become more articulate and confident, while students from disadvantaged communities struggle to find their voice.
